Ivena Smailes recently turned 105, but not in the way you may assume. Because Ivena requested that her birthday cake be delivered by a «fireman with tattoos,» and guess what? She got her wish. Her wish was granted!

Ivena is a resident of Addison Court Care Home in Crawcrook, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom, and is also known as «Aunty Ivy.» Despite the fact that she had requested a one-of-a-kind birthday gift, she probably did not expect it to happen… Until a fireman appeared through her third-floor window and handed her a Victoria sponge cake!

Debra Carter, a care home worker, observed, «She’s got a terrific sense of humor.» «This year, she had a bucket list cake delivered by a firefighter.» Last year, she tried to get us to climb a tree for her birthday. She’s always trying to force us to do something we can’t.» Happy birthday, Aunty Ivy!

And she received a gift she had not anticipated! “A cake delivered by a fireman with tattoos was on her wish list this year,” said Debra Carter, who works at Aunty Ivy’s care home. As a result, a fireman climbed through her third-floor window and delivered a birthday cake to her!
