Marshmallow is only three weeks old. Marshmallow, a two-week-old kitten, has evolved new moves in comparison to a life of constant suckling and napping.

She began by concentrating her teardrop eyes on you and holding her head steady. Marshy was able to sit after that and rest her tushy. She then stood on all fours, quickly developing the strength in her limbs to walk.

Marshy, meanwhile, began to master the art of self-grooming from her mama «Mochi.» On a handful of times, Marshy appeared to be sucking on her own «thumb» while napping. It’s very cute. Marshmallow is also becoming accustomed to spending time away from the nest box.

Mama Mochi’s maternal instincts have grown stronger as Marshy has grown and developed, and she has become more responsive to her kitten’s needs. Marshy’s ears flap like wings when she suckles with all her might, which is a special treat we’ve noticed.
