Mom’s Heartwarming Self-Soothing Technique Goes Viral. Check Out the Cutest Video Here.

Teaching children how to self-soothe when faced with hardship is one of the most difficult elements of parenting. Shelbee Haderer, a mother from McCloud, Oklahoma, has an excellent strategy for assisting her two-year-old daughter, Brilee, in finding peace, and a video of their uplifting affirmations has become an online hit.

The clip begins shortly after Brilee injures herself by accidently closing a door on her fingers. Shelbee expertly encourages her toddler to inhale deeply during the sobs, despite the fact that she is naturally distressed by the discomfort. As soon as the little child relaxes, Shelbee invites her to recite three charming, empowering sentences that every child should learn early and thoroughly: “I’m okay. I’m tough. I’m stunning. I’m adored. “I am deserving.”

The effect is nearly spellbinding! When Brilee voices these declarations of self-respect and recognition, she clearly recovers calmness and balance. Her tender “Thank you, mom” is certain to dissolve your heart into a soft syrup!

Watch the video below to hear Brilee’s affirmations, and don’t forget to share this great parenting tip with others.
