In 2013, Saudi Arabian Khalid Shaari rose to prominence in an instant.

The 22-year-old man was then featured in the Guinness Book of Records as the heaviest individual to have ever lived.

Khalid weighed 610 kilos and hadn’t left his flat in years because he couldn’t squeeze through the door.

Who knows how long Saudi King Abdullah Al Saud would have kept Khalid from leaving the residence?

He gave the command to help the 610-kg world record holder reduce weight because he knew he lived in the kingdom.

He also covered all associated costs, including the full cost of medical care.

Even yet, getting Khalid to the Riyadh clinic was challenging.

A large group of movers, installers, doctors, and builders were needed to transport the 610-kilogram man to the treatment facility.

Before placing Khalid on a specially built bed that was subsequently lowered to the earth by a loader, specialists removed a piece of the building’s wall.

It was determined that in addition to overeating and poor nutrition, Khalid’s obesity was caused by genetic issues that needed to be treated right away.
