We are all aware that look is important. That is why we make such an effort to present ourselves to the rest of the world. One of the greatest human qualities is the ability to feel compassion, but does it change based on how someone looks or what they wear? Isn’t that absurd? The social experiment in the video below reveals that our proclivity to be polite and sensitive to one another is influenced by our appearance.

The experiment went as follows: In the first scenario, a well-dressed young man trips and falls and seeks assistance. Those who see the disaster rush to his aid in a matter of seconds. People react significantly differently when a homeless man replaces the presentable young man in the second scenario.
