Students and employees at Frances Buzzard’s West Virginia school respect her and hold her in high regard as a school janitor.
The 77-year-old is always cheerful when he arrives at Belle Elementary School and takes wonderful care of the property.
However, when the staff discovered that her upbringing was unlike that of other modern youngsters, they decided to do something special for her.
Frances had little money to spend on birthday or holiday parties because she was reared in poverty.

As a mark of their thanks, the crew decided to change this and throw her a birthday party.
After 200 workers and students had arrived to celebrate Frances’ birthday and the café had been decked with birthday food, they summoned her to the room.
Could Rendall and Ms. Frances perhaps drop by the cafeteria? According to the Charleston Gazette-Mail, the loudspeaker inquired.
Frances felt she had been asked to perform a task, but when she opened the doors and saw what was within, she couldn’t believe it.
Students clapped and sent their best wishes her way as gifts were taken out into the corridor. The school also made a short film in which Frances’ face appeared in a variety of well-known occurrences.

She received royal treatment, including her own sash and tiara.
When her family had the money, Frances disclosed that the only presents she had ever received as a child were fruits and nuts.
Oh, there is a huge celebration. I appreciate it because no one has ever done this for me, Frances exclaimed with joy.
