As was customary, the young student married a 70-year-old retiree. Throughout the days leading up to the celebration, Xiao remained depressed; predictably, the young woman was apprehensive about the unjust marriage.
The wedding took place, the student did not object to her parents, and the groom accidentally revealed the girl’s genuine age that evening. Xiao Qu’s family was from the lower middle class. Because they envisaged their daughter marrying a wealthy nobleman, the girl’s parents betrothed her without even earning a dowry.

Because defying her parents’ desires is prohibited in China, the student was unable to do so. He was weeping but also humbly preparing for the wedding. Meetings with the retired groom became more frequent, and something about them always seemed wrong to Xiao.
He was quite interested, courteous, and pleasant. The girl eventually realized that her worries about the wedding had subsided. The older man gradually gained his approval. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and when it came time for the young couple to leave, they did so.
The husband told Xiao to keep an eye on the door so he could use the restroom. After hearing his call, the girl entered and was surprised to see a young man instead of a senior citizen.

The explanations went on for around six hours. It turned out that Xiao’s fiancee was a billionaire businessman from a different region of the nation. He purposefully pretended to be a 70-year-old man in order to pique genuine interest in his partner’s personality initially.
