Alyona Tskayeva has graduated from school, is now 16 years old, and is attending her high school prom. If not for a special power official saving her infant son during the 2004 takeover of a school in Beslan, this occasion could not have conceivably happened in her life.

These images of Elbrus Gogichev carrying a child spread quickly over the world and came to represent the disaster.

The man hasn’t totally healed from that horrific occurrence, despite the passage of 16 years. He recently went to the Beslan school anyhow since Alyona had asked him to her graduation.

Gogichaev and the young woman had a conversation before to the festival before he hastily left. Elbrus could do without responding to the columnists’ questions that day since he decided to ignore them.

Since the catastrophe, Alyona and Elbrus have never met in person. On September 1, the man was there. That was quite some time ago.

Because of him, the young lady regards him with the utmost respect and affection, calling him “Uncle Elbrus” with affection.
