Do a good deed and hurl it into the sea, as the proverb goes. Two canines belong to Khemjira Klongsanun, who is familiar with their quirks. She spotted a small puppy on the side of the track during the marathon; there were no adjacent houses or people. She carried the puppy along, yet she persisted in participating in the race.

Khemjira says: “It seemed to me that this little guy was going to die. There were no buildings, no animals, no people nearby. And I picked up a puppy to take him out of a dangerous situation.”

Since this was not permitted by the marathon’s rules, nobody stepped in to help. However, the puppy also piqued the interest of other participants.

Khemjira did not finish the marathon with the best result, but this is not the most important thing.

Then she showed the puppy to the vet. After the examinations, the dog was taken to his new home. It turned out that he is not even a mongrel, but a thoroughbred dog and belongs to the Thai bangwu.

The puppy was named Chombueng – in honor of the place where the marathon took place.
