Even though Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were both involved with other people at the time they met, they couldn’t deny their tremendous chemistry. But their brief affair ended in tragedy.
Miranda Lambert was formerly married to TV personality Blake Shelton before meeting her current husband. Lambert was aware that Shelton was a married man when they first met.
He fell in love with her despite their current commitments to other people. When he and Lambert sang “Austin” together, the singer realized he was truly in love.

Shelton admitted on an episode of “Behind the Music” that he had never had that kind of chemistry with anyone before performing on stage with Lambert:
“I’ve never had something like that happen with anyone. Did you know I was married? This shouldn’t be happening while you’re standing there singing with someone.”
In that case, Lambert admitted that she was aware of Shelton’s marriage but still felt a great connection with him despite being engaged to fellow country musician Jeff Allen McManus.

In an interview with People in 2011, she revealed, “I thought he was married. “I should have known better; this is illegal.” Lambert was perplexed, but it didn’t stop Shelton and Lambert from discussing dating.
Shelton divorced Kaynette Williams, his high school sweetheart from 2003, in 2006. Lambert also called off her engagement in order for them to be together.
The pair married in May 2011, however, their marriage did not go as planned. Shelton indicated a desire to have children, while Lambert seemed uninterested owing to their busy careers, which produced tension.

“I don’t want to have kids and raise them on a plane or a bus,” she explained. That’s the one thing I’d like to get right.” The former “Nashville Star” star stated that she and Shelton were having fun and at the pinnacle of their careers, and she did not feel they would want to change anything:
We’re both at the top of our games right now and having a great time, so neither of us is thinking about making any adjustments.
Their marriage ended in divorce in July 2015, after four years of marriage and amid suspicions that they had strayed from one other. Lambert later detailed the situation, claiming that Shelton had been unfaithful to their marriage.

According to her friends, the Oklahoma native was the one who walked off with another country star. According to TMZ, Shelton’s legal team employed a powerful public relations firm to target Lambert shortly after she signed the divorce papers in an acrimonious divorce battle, portraying Lambert as the bad guy.
Shelton admitted that once his marriage to Lambert ended, he was devastated and had reached rock bottom. The couple had a bitter divorce. He equated the experience to being in the “middle of hell” in a Billboard interview.
To cope with the pain of his divorce, the “The Voice!” coach spent the night at the home of his buddy Adam Levine. He also made a friend in Gwen Stefani, who was going through a public divorce from her husband of 20 years, Gavin Rossdale.

Because Shelton revealed he had fallen in love with the pop singer, they grew closer the more they confided about their divorces.
He questioned whether or if Stefani felt the same way about him because everything happened so quickly, and it turned out that she did. After their divorce, Lambert also met the “love of her life,” therefore it was not surprising to learn how she felt about their relationship. a source informed E! News:
She was not shocked to learn of Blake and Gwen’s romance because they were always fairly flirtatious.

In an October 2019 interview, Lambert said that she met her future husband, Brenden McLoughlin, in November 2018. The couple met while she was promoting the record of the country music group Pistol Annies.
McLoughlin was working security for “Good Morning America” when the female band appeared. When Lambert’s Annie friends discovered him there, they decided she should start dating other people.
Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley played matchmaker, bringing Lambert’s future spouse without her knowing and selecting him for her. Tom, one of Lambert’s security guards, informed her that he was also involved. “He’s there. He’s also rather beautiful.”

They got engaged after three months of courting. Friends of the pair said that McLoughlin’s work as a New York City police officer helped the two of them immediately become close. Her mother was a private investigator, and Lambert’s father had been a detective for many years.
Staten Island native McLoughlin was given a job at the South Midtown Precinct close to Times Square. According to those close to the musician, he gave her life a feeling of normalcy. Lambert is eight years older than the policeman, who is currently in his twenties and his wife is in her forties.

The couple wed in a private ceremony in Tennessee in January 2019. In February of the same year, Lambert announced her marriage to her true mate in an Instagram post that included pictures of the happy couple. The native Texan claimed that her heart was now entire once more:
“I wanted to offer some news in honor of Valentine’s Day. The love of my life and I met. And we were married! I’m overjoyed. Brenden McLoughlin, I appreciate your love for me.”
For three weeks, the couple secretly dated and delayed telling anybody about their wedding. Although Lambert has a reputation for moving on quickly from relationships, she claimed that the pace she took with her spouse was advantageous to them both.

In a February 2021 interview, the “Blue Bird” singer claimed that although though they married soon after their brief romance, they still got to know one another:
“Before we married, our relationship was brief. As a result, we got the opportunity to get to know each other really well. It was just the two of us on my property outside of Nashville, with no distractions. I was grateful for it since it strengthened us.”
Lambert had a brief relationship with musician Evan Felker before meeting McLoughlin in 2018. The “Over You” singer told the Tennessean in August that she was “happily single,” adding, “Love is a hard path sometimes, and it’s been a roller-coaster journey for me.”
Her husband, too, has a complicated past. She was another woman when McLoughlin was having an affair with his then-fiancee, Jackie Bruno. Carol Bruno, his ex’s mother, claimed he tried to minimize the relationship and pleaded with her daughter to stay with him.
Carol stated that McLoughlin asked Jackie to marry him before she went, despite the fact that he was aware that someone else was carrying his child and despite the fact that Jackie was just going abroad for a few months to play soccer.
Only three days after meeting Lambert, he and Kaihla Rettinger welcomed a son named Landon.
