A woman was out to dinner with her daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law when she suddenly felt odd. Despite the fact that they had been dating for a while, she had a strange creeping suspicion about him that she was unable to shake.

It started with a story her son-in-law told after supper.

After six years of dating, Heidi and Ed Savitt got hitched in the summer of 2017. The two met and fell in love while attending Newcastle University in London in 2011. They have been together ever since.

It had been four years since the couple sat down to eat with their mothers, Kay and Fiona. The mother experienced some odd feelings by the end. When Heidi was six years old, Kay told stories about her “vacation lover” who she met while sailing in Turkey.

There for two weeks was her “lover,” who was also named Ed.

Two weeks later, Kay was looking through a box of old photographs from 1997. She was shocked to find a ton of photos from their sailing trip in Turkey. Immediately after discovering what her mother had found, Kay called her daughter, who was exactly as surprised.

The “vacation boyfriend,” not Heidi, was Ed Savitt. Both families were unaware that the couple had already met several years earlier. Certainly a small world!

The Parkers and Savitts travel on vacation together every year now that Heidi and Ed are wed. Their photo gallery is perhaps one of the most unique ones out there.
