According to the Hong Kong travel website “Go Trip,” a flight attendant named Ms. Jiao was taken aback when her fiancée proposed marriage to her during a trip on which she was working.

The pair was greeted by blessings and cheers from the passengers onboard. The event resulted in the flight stewardess’s abrupt resignation.

Ms. Jiao was on duty aboard China Eastern Airlines flight MU2329 from Xi’an, Shaanxi, to Sichuan at the time.

Half an hour after the plane took off, the flight attendant’s fiancée stood in front of her, knelt with a diamond ring in her hand, and proposed marriage. Ms. Jaio accepted with tears in her eyes.

All of the passengers clapped and blessed her as she hugged her fiancée.

She thanked the passengers during the in-flight broadcast. “I had no idea my boyfriend was going to propose to me on the plane.” Thank you so much for your testimony.”

However, after the plane touched down, Ms. Jaio was summoned by her supervisors to explain the occurrence.
