Being a hero requires little effort! This mother saved a child’s life even though she didn’t have to.
Christine King, a resident of Bucks County’s Bensalem, was driving down Cottman Avenue on her way to work when she observed something strange. She saw a man threaten to force a toddler off the overpass.

She looked more closely than most people on the road. She made the decision to come to a halt and intervene. I couldn’t just leave after seeing the baby. She said, “I couldn’t let it go after I saw him try to throw the infant over.”
She went on to say that even if it meant putting herself in danger, she would do anything to save the baby’s life.
She tells what happened and demands, “Give me the baby.” While she was yanking the baby away from him, I wrapped my hand around the newborn and said, “Give me the baby.” He shouted, “Get off my baby, I’m going to shoot you.” I’m about to shoot you.

The child’s mother was also in a panic. He threatened her child and was her ex-boyfriend.
When the ex-boyfriend was preoccupied, the mother had the foresight to take the revolver out of his pocket, preventing him from shooting anyone as he was threatening to do.
He was shivering, so when she moved behind him and entered his pocket, he was unaware that she was there. At that point, she took the revolver. She put it in her pocket at that point, according to King.

According to King, the mother was pleading with her ex-boyfriend to return the child to her, but he refused. When the cops arrived, he returned the child to his mother and handed her the child.
According to King, the suspect resisted arrest. Officials relocated the investigation to a nearby parking lot off Bleigh Avenue and the overpass.
The toddler appeared to be in good health while being evaluated by medical staff in an ambulance.
The circumstances of the incident have not been made public, and the investigation is still ongoing.
