Keanu Reeves is a pretty decent human being, as if that wasn’t obvious enough.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard the stories and seen the videos.

You’ll understand that, despite his megastar position, money, and unbelievable fame, Keanu Reeves is a down-to-earth individual who has never put himself above kindness and compassion.

Every few months, Reeves appears to do something new to remind us that he is the gold standard for A-list celebrities who put others before themselves and act in a way that demonstrates they actually care about society.

Reeves, best known for his work on blockbuster films, has recently proved his ability as a comic book writer. He and Matt Kindt co-created and co-wrote BRZRKR, the most popular single issue since Star Wars in 2015.

At a recent book signing, a nine-year-old series fan approached Keanu to tell him that the Matrix actor was his “favorite actor.” What did Keanu have to say? Well, it’s as healthy as you’d expect…

When your light shines as brilliantly as Keanu Reeves’s, it’s reasonable to assume that there are very few days when you don’t run across someone who wants you to take their photo or sign their autograph.

The rigmarole must become old after a while, but you’d never know it from seeing Keanu interact with his fans. After all, it stands to reason that repeatedly demanding a piece of you would wear you down.

The 58-year-old has often displayed his great heart and compassion throughout the years. Consider the time he patiently answered a boy’s barrage of questions following a long journey. What about the time Sandra Bullock revealed that he had surprised her with champagne and truffles after she told him she had never tried them?

We could go on forever. The point is that Keanu Reeves is a nice person, so it’s no surprise that he’s returned to social media after interacting with a nine-year-old fan.

The small boy reportedly approached Reeves at a book signing and gushed, “I’m such a big fan!”

In the footage released by IGN, Reeves can be heard asking the youngster his name. Keanu identifies himself when Noah, the nine-year-old, says “Noah” (as if there was any need for it).

“You’re probably my favorite actor on the planet!” In the video, Noah says. Keanu is then seen with a radiant smile. “Oh my gosh, Noah, thank you!” he exclaims.

Following that, the 58-year-old actor inquired of his little admirer whether he had seen Duke Caboom, the doll Reeves voiced in Doll Story 4. “He’s definitely my favorite character!” Noah responds.

Keanu’s enthusiasm shines through as much as his decorum in these interactions. According to fans, the John Wick actor always seems to be just as excited to interact with others as they are to interact with him.

They say you should never meet your idols, but we think it’s safe to ignore such advice in the case of Keanu.
