The American student is only 12 years old, yet he has already begun to advance in his career. Employers compete for a kid genius because who else can graduate from high school and college at the same time?
Mike Wimmer of North Carolina always compares himself to a sponge – a learner absorbs new material just as quickly.
This is probably why, at the age of five, the boy instilled in himself a love of programming.
It was only the first success on the path of the little prodigy. When most of Mike’s peers were just starting high school, he was already in high school.
Wimmer managed to enroll in those classes that mattered not only at school, but also at a local college.
As a result, by the age of 12, Mike had taken an intensive four-year high school course and successfully completed a college program.
The boy will celebrate both graduation ceremonies at the same time.
I finished all the classes in my school very quickly. You know, I’m like a sponge, because I absorb knowledge very quickly, ”explained the child prodigy.
Indeed, the boy coped with his studies brilliantly, and his performance in both educational institutions turned out to be among the best.
Among classmates and classmates, Mike was a favorite. Despite the age difference, he manages to get along with the elders.
What happens next? Mike has a lot of options because both employers and scientists seek such a colleague and employee.
Wimmer has already been given various positions, but he has yet to determine whether or not to accept them.
Mike intends to continue his studies and launch his own tech firm, for which he has already secured a scholarship.
Melissa, the boy’s mother, says that even when a door is locked, he always finds a way to fulfill his ambitions.
Although Mike has long been ahead of his contemporaries, he is still the same little boy they are: he likes to have fun, have fun, play, and see friends.
Many people tell me that I abandoned my childhood and somehow missed it. And I react differently to them – I’m having the time of my life, – Mike replied.
