Once upon a time, a very small girl became a true beacon of hope for the parents of children in similar situations.

Freya, who is just 5 days old in the photo, performed admirably unaware.

The little girl beamed at her pleased parents, David and Lauren Vigne, and was dubbed “the happiest child in the world.”

Freya was born on November 22nd.

She weighed barely 1.7 kilograms, although the usual weight of a newborn is 2.5 to 5 kg.

Lauren’s pregnancy was fraught with issues; at 28 weeks, she was diagnosed with preeclampsia or extremely high blood pressure.
