The actor and his brother, Beau Bridges, began their careers at a young age. They also worked on some films with their father. Jeff has received numerous honors, including an Academy Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Golden Globes.

He inquired of Geston, and the two of them began house-looking. The actor recalled visiting a ranch beside a river. And as they strolled around the property, Jeff heard a voice inside his head say:

“You and your future wife are now going house hunting.”

This thought astonished the actor and made him feel nervous. Jeff felt this way because he was terrified of losing his liberty. He couldn’t, however, let go of his life’s love.

Geston and Jeff knew they wanted to be together for the long haul following their first date two years ago. So they married, and now they are a happy, loving marriage with three grown children.

The actor and his wife have been married for over 40 years. And it’s safe to assume that they’ve experienced both good and bad times.

Jeff explained to People how he and Geston have maintained their relationship. They both stated that they had grown to like each other over time. He explained to them:

“We are very different as people, but we celebrate that rather than allowing it to divide us.” I admire her intelligence, and I’m sure the girls do as well. “I’ve been extremely fortunate.”

He also stated in his book that Sue taught him a lot and that they are both aware of each other’s flaws. For example, Jeff is always concerned about starting a project, and Geston always tells him that his concerns do not prevent him from succeeding.

The 72-year-old went on to say that he and Geston adore each other and have recognized that their bond is the “most precious thing.” Jeff admitted that he and Geston didn’t know much about each other, but it was fine with them.

Jeff and Geston have three daughters. Geston’s biggest accomplishment is being a father and having a family. Isabelle, their eldest child, was born in 1981.

Jessica and Haley were born in 1983 and 1985, respectively. Because their renowned father took them to several red carpet events, the Bridges girls grew up in the spotlight.

The three pals are all grownups now, and they are all preoccupied with their work and families. Isabelle’s first and so far only appearance in Hollywood was as a teenager in “Termini.”

Jeff had cancer in the year 2020 and was getting better because to COVID-19 treatment. His health, however, did not prevent him from walking down the aisle with Hayley and performing the father-bride dance.
