The mother had twins, one of whom had Down syndrome: the odds are one in a million.

A Sheffield mother is proud of her two twins, one of whom was born with Down syndrome. This is quite rare.

Nicola and Todd Bailey were getting ready to have their second child. They already have a four-year-old son named Lucas. The couple was expecting twins and had no idea one of the daughters had a major deviation.

The first scan at 12 weeks showed no abnormalities, and later it turned out that they had twins.

Nicola and Todd were very excited about this news.

Harper was born with Down syndrome 38 minutes before her sister, Queen. Doctors took pity on the girl and sympathized with her parents. But Nicola and Todd believe that both girls are beautiful and will love them equally.

“Harper is the same as my other children. I will never change my mind about her.

We have disagreements because people notice that she is different. We frequently receive derogatory remarks concerning his disease.

Harper is stunning, and her grin brightens the entire world.

“I’m sorry, but one of the twins was born with Down syndrome,” the doctor told me. But as soon as I saw it, I burst into tears of excitement.

Nicola enjoys dressing the girls in similar clothing and watching them grow up. Despite having Down syndrome, Harper and Quinn are remarkably similar.

Nicola believes that their family is unique, and she is not going to change that.

Doctors have recognized that the birth of a twin with Down syndrome is one case in a million.
