A Sheffield mother is proud of her two twins, one of whom was born with Down syndrome. This is quite rare.

Nicola and Todd Bailey were getting ready to have their second child. They already have a four-year-old son named Lucas. The couple was expecting twins and had no idea one of the daughters had a major deviation.

The first scan at 12 weeks showed no abnormalities, and later it turned out that they had twins.

Nicola and Todd were very excited about this news.

Harper was born with Down syndrome 38 minutes before her sister, Queen. Doctors took pity on the girl and sympathized with her parents. But Nicola and Todd believe that both girls are beautiful and will love them equally.

“Harper is the same as my other children. I will never change my mind about her.
