This sequence is fantastic; it reveals so much about both of their personas.

The 1987 love drama dance film “Dirty Dancing” became a cult classic, motivating many others to learn to dance and even imitate the movie’s routines, particularly the iconic lift.

Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey play Frances “Baby” Houseman (Grey) and Johnny Castle (Swayze), respectively. It tells the story of a young woman who falls in love with a dancing instructor at a resort.

As with any film, there are a lot of bloopers from the set and a few moments that were eliminated from the final cut. Some of these scenes never make it to the big screen for reasons most people don’t understand.Only to be made available to consumers separately.

Consider this deleted scene of Swayze and Grey in character, in which Johnny Castle appears to be teaching Frances Houseman a few dance moves for their performance at the Sheldrake.

Emile Ardolino, the director, insisted on casting performers who could dance.

Swayze was cast after Grey appeared to have fantastic chemistry with him when compared to other actors considered for the role.
