Brian Whitefield, U.S. Airman, received an emotional homecoming as he made a surprise visit to his son’s school at Central R3 Middle School in Park Hills, Missouri, during his math class.

The military father entered the classroom in his uniform and sat down next to his son Landon, who was surprised to see his father after being gone from home for the majority of the year.

It took him a few seconds to grasp what was going on before he passionately hugged his father. The poignant reunion was also captured on camera, with visible watery eyes.

Meanwhile, the entire class was silent as they witnessed their friend Landon’s emotional reunion with his father. The sight of such a heartwarming reunion moved them all to tears.
