In Yaroslavl, a Russian city, a horrific tragedy occurred over 10 years ago. Yaroslavl will never forget that dreadful thing that occurred there! A neighbor once over a long period of time heard a baby sobbing in a house not far away, but at the time he didn’t give it much thought and continued with his normal activities. He saw that the baby kept crying uncontrollably in the days that followed.

There were never lights on or any indication of activity, despite the fact that nobody had observed any signals of life coming from the residence. When the police entered the residence, it was abandoned and empty; the previous residents had removed all of their belongings, cleaned the house, and vanished. How sad that their own tiny infant was the only thing still inside the house! The one-year-old daughter was discovered abandoned on a filthy, chilly floor for several days.

The newborn was identified as Liza Verbitskaya by the authorities after additional investigation, despite the fact that her parents were unaccounted for and no one knew where they were. Little Liza was transported to the doctor, and she spent several days getting better in the hospital to make sure she was properly cared for following her ordeal. A woman named Inna Nika was caring for her sick son while she was in the hospital and was present day and night.

One particular day she happened to hear a scream from the hospital room next door and had a look inside the room, out of curiosity and concern, to see what was going on. Little Liza was there in the room and Inna felt a maternal pull toward the little girl. From that day forth, Inna visited Liza every day and came with clothes, food, and toys for her. Inna was about to visit Liza one day, like every other day, but Lisa was not there, she had gone.

She found out that the little girl was thought to be strong enough to be released from care at the hospital to an orphanage. Inna felt so empty and really yearned to be reunited with the little girl again, so much so that she made the decision to go and find her! When she did find her she felt that there was no doubt in her mind, she wanted to adopt the little girl.

Liza was allowed to live with Inna and her family, where she was adored as one of her own, after a lengthy adoption procedure that Inna started as soon as she was able to. Due to paperwork and processing time, Liza was almost two years old when Inna adopted her. She was unable to chew because she was so terrified of loud noises! She had experienced severe trauma…

With her dark days obviously behind her, Inna was more determined than ever to give the little child the love and care she had always needed. As Liza grew older, Inna enrolled her in a dance studio in the hopes that she would become more self-assured and come out of her shell. Liza had difficulty learning to walk.

Nobody knows why, but with all the love and care she received from her adopted mother, it wasn’t long before Liza blossomed like any other girl her age. Liza, unlike her siblings, had dark skin and stood out like a sore thumb; growing up was difficult for her. Inna always told her daughter not to listen to others because they are easily swayed by jealousy.

Liza, who is now a teen, has won numerous beauty pageants, talent competitions, and her very first modeling position. What a striking difference between how her life started and how she achieved! She has become a Russian superstar because to her modeling profession and amazing life story—so much so that when her birth mother heard about her, she wanted to get in touch with her right once! Liza didn’t want anything to do with the mother who had left her when she was a baby.
