When the airline refuses to let the father and child board, a widow does something incredible… Watch the video below…

Rubin Swift had no idea he’d be stopped at the Frontier Airlines gate at Phoenix International Airport and told that he and his newborn daughter Ru-Andria couldn’t even board the plane. Traveling with an infant can be challenging, but he never anticipated to be told that he and his daughter would be denied boarding. Swift’s second child is Ru-Andria.

Rubin was granted custody of his newborn daughter after realizing that he had a newborn daughter in Arizona.

The father, 43, of Cleveland, Ohio, grabbed his belongings and headed south to retrieve his child and return her home.

He visited his daughter’s hospital room for the first time at Banner University Medical Center and began to create a bond with her. There, he met Joy Ringhofer, a NICU volunteer who was 78 years old at the time.

After delivery, the newborn baby Ru-Andria was taken to the NICU for several days as a preventative measure.

Even though he had been thrown into an unexpected circumstance, Joy realized that Rubin was a loving father to their children despite the fact that he had just lost her husband.

He has three children who are now adults from a previous marriage, and he has four stepchildren from his relationship with Tiffany, who was 32 at the time.

Rubin was taken aback when Joy felt obligated to offer him with her contact information and phone number for some inexplicable reason.

Even on the day he was meant to leave, she offered to drive him to the airport and drop him off.

Ru-Andria was unable to fly with Rubin because he needed proof of her age before allowing her to board the airline. Frontier Airlines requires that a child be at least seven days old in order to travel.

Obtaining the necessary documentation, on the other hand, could take up to a week!

Rubin was at a loss for what to do when he raced into the airport’s large barrier. While waiting for her birth certificate, he entertained the idea of sleeping on the airport floor for several days to save money.

I didn’t have any money with me, and the hospital informed me that I would have to wait seven days to acquire a birth certificate. If airport security sees me sleeping with a newborn, they may charge me with neglect and take the baby away from me. This made me really nervous. “I was in a pickle.”

Tiffany, his wife, responded with confusion when he attempted to communicate with her.

They just did not have enough money for him to rent a car and travel home, or to secure a hotel room and wait it out there till everything was resolved.”
“When he phoned me from the airport and told me that they weren’t going to let him travel until he could obtain a birth certificate in four days, I felt worried. I was concerned that he would fall asleep while waiting at the airport. It seemed as if we had exhausted all of our alternatives, and that made me quite nervous.”
Rubin entertained the momentary idea of getting in touch with Joy, the NICU volunteer who had been so nice as to drive him to the airport and who had shown him nothing but compassion during their interaction.

Because he had no other choices, he dialed the number of the elderly person and took his chances. Rubin called his wife to inform her how his angel, Joy, had gone above and above to help him.

She, too, was taken aback. Rubin, on the other hand, didn’t hesitate to accept Joy’s offer since he had a great impression of her from the moment he met her.
