Olivia, a newborn girl, was born in January of this year at one of Australia’s medical facilities. Stephanie extended out her hands and caressed the baby’s face when he was placed on her chest! Everyone was caught aback by what was happening, and photographer Selena Rolason, who was photographing the birth, captured this poignant moment on camera. A great girl’s mother recalls how she felt at that important time…

“My daughter was born at 39 weeks, I had a cesarean section, and I saw her for the first time.” She appeared to be so insignificant and defenseless! When the doctors placed the baby on my chest, something unusual happened. My child started staring at me and then massaged my face! “She said it numerous times!” exclaims the overjoyed mother. Millions of parents’ hearts were quickly caught by the images of this one-of-a-kind case.

“I’ve seen hundreds of births, but I’ve never seen anything like this.” The small one seemed to be doing everything absolutely deliberately. After delivery, most caesarean babies have no idea where they are or that they have a loving mother next to them. Indeed, the children are true angels that make their mother joyful from the moment they are born!
