A bride recently gave her 2-year-old son the spotlight on her wedding day. Kristie Mihelich never expected her kid to steal the show, but she is overjoyed that he did!

Kristie and her husband Bobby married in Michigan after postponing their marriage because of the epidemic. During the interim, they became parents to their son, Pierson.

They had always intended for him to be the ceremony’s ring bearer. Pierson and his father waited at the front as Kristie appeared to begin her trip down the aisle to the traditional music ‘Canon in D.’

Pierson couldn’t contain his excitement. He yelled out, ‘Hey, Mom!’ Then, he waved and ran toward her with his arms outstretched. All the guests loved it and cheered him on.

Kristie ended up walking down the aisle with her son Pierson and her brother, Kirk. It was an unplanned walk down the aisle that ended up being perfect and fitting.

‘It was the sweetest thing in the entire globe,’ she added. I could have gone home right then and there and been overjoyed with my wedding.’ The guests and groom both enjoyed the moment.

Pierson’s energy set the tone for the entire event, which was a smashing success. ‘I couldn’t have planned it any other way, and I wouldn’t want it any other way,’ Kristie said.
