Reba McEntire has denied the authenticity of a viral social media post involving her and Taylor Swift.

Last week, a Facebook page called America Loves Liberty posted on the social platform, claiming that the country music star, who is 68 years old, had a problem with how the post described Swift’s behavior during McEntire’s performance at the 2024 Super Bowl.

In a recent post, it was mentioned that Reba McIntire expressed her disappointment when she noticed Taylor Swift laughing and drinking while she was performing The National Anthem. According to the post, McEntire reportedly confronted Swift about it later. ‘She’s an entitled little brat’.

In a recent Instagram post, McEntire took the opportunity to address a screenshot of the America Loves Liberty post. She firmly denied ever making the statements that the page claims, urging her followers not to believe everything they see on the Internet. Her caption served as a reminder to exercise caution and critical thinking when consuming online content. «I did not say this.»

«Taylor is an incredible artist, a true inspiration, and has made a significant impact on countless individuals and the music industry,» she commented.

At Super Bowl LVIII, McEntire took the stage to deliver a powerful rendition of the national anthem, while Swift showed up to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The singer behind «I’m a Survivor» playfully poked fun at Swift’s relationship with Kelce, 34, back in October 2023. In an interview with TODAY.com, she jokingly expressed her disappointment, revealing that she had a crush on the NFL star herself.

“Oh, my gosh, I am so mad at her because I had a crush on him,” McEntire said, adding: «Now I can’t have a crush anymore because he’s dating her. I am absolutely crushed.»
