Tragic End: The Superstar’s 3-Year-Old Son Dies After Tragic River Accident. When You Find Out Who He Is, You Will Cry

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the son of rodeo star Spencer Wright being declared brain dead. The heartbreaking incident occurred when the young child’s toy tractor ended up in a fast-moving river.

A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday in Beaver County, Utah, as a three-year-old boy named Levi Wright accidentally drove into a river and disappeared beneath the water’s surface. This heartbreaking event sparked a frantic search to locate him.

According to ABC4, Levi’s mother bravely jumped in to rescue him and he was quickly taken to the hospital. Although medical efforts were able to bring back his heartbeat, Levi unfortunately never regained consciousness and was later pronounced brain dead.

In a devastating post on Facebook, it was shared that Levi’s ‘adorable little brain was deprived of oxygen for too long and there is no chance of recovery.’

When Levi drove into the river around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, the person who called 911 reported frantically that they couldn’t see him under the swift currents. His mother realized he had sneaked away and rushed to the river, diving into the water to save him. Her friend later stated that she was the one who found and pulled him out.

Rescue teams from the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office, Utah Highway Patrol, Beaver County Search and Rescue, and Beaver firefighters quickly responded. They performed life-saving efforts before an ambulance took him to Beaver County Hospital. He was then airlifted to Salt Lake City.

Mindy Sue Clark, a close friend and family spokesperson, told ABC4 that Levi is receiving care at Salt Lake City Hospital. However, without a significant recovery, he is not expected to survive. The family shared through Clark that Levi’s heart is «beating on its own,» but he shows no signs of recovery.

The family said, «He has a will to breathe, but his sweet little brain was without oxygen too long and there is no coming back from that.» They expressed their intent to hold him close until his last breath, saying, «We can’t be selfish and drag this out for days, he doesn’t deserve that. My Baby, my beans, Mom & Dad love you always and forever!»

Levi’s mother reportedly jumped into the river to save him after he disappeared under the currents. His family described him as the «sweetest, kindest little boy.» Spencer Wright, ranked 35th in the rodeo world, and his family said the support they have received «means the world» to them. Clark asked for prayers and more time for the family to navigate this process.

Although Levi has been declared brain dead, the family continues to hope for any signs of recovery. Clark told Fox13Now that Levi’s uncle tickled his feet for a response, causing him to open his eyes a few times, but he did not recover further. Clark described Levi as a «sweet and tender-hearted little boy» who identified as a T-Rex and believed he was as strong as one.

The Wright family has not spoken publicly since the tragedy, but Clark emphasized the importance of the rodeo community’s support. Spencer Wright’s family is renowned in the rodeo world, with his father, Bill Wright, inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, and his siblings also being well-known athletes in the sport.
