A Man Rented His Home to a Mother of Four Children, and Six Months Later He Couldn’t Recognize It

A British resident decided to rent out his house, which had been sitting idle since he wasn’t living there. He thought it would be a good idea to have someone look after the house and earn some extra money in the process. A mother with several children responded to his advertisement, leaving a good impression. She was neat and tidy, and her children looked well-cared for and very sweet. The man considered her a good candidate and decided to rent his house to her.

Initially, the homeowner would visit to collect the rent and check if everything was alright. He saw that the house was in good condition and that the mother and her four children were very comfortable. She quickly gained his trust by being honest and always paying the bills on time. Additionally, she proved to be a caring and attentive mother. Consequently, the owner decided to stop visiting and instead receive the payment via bank transfer, which was convenient for both parties.

However, after some time, the woman stopped responding. Concerned that something bad might have happened to her or her children, the homeowner went to his house. Upon arrival, he discovered that his key no longer worked because the woman had changed the locks. Later, the fire department contacted him, asking to open the door to address some issues. The man was unaware that an accident had occurred in his house. Eventually, the door was broken open, and he found that his home was in a disastrous state. Trash, dirt, and dampness were everywhere, with insect larvae and human waste scattered around.

The owner spent a considerable amount of time, effort, and money to restore the house. He hired a cleaning service to clean the property and then undertook repairs. Following this experience, he decided never to rent out his house again. The woman had vanished with her children, and even the police were unable to locate her.
