It is with great sadness that Clint Eastwood has announced the loss of his beloved partner, Christina Sandera, at the age of 61.
Eastwood, 94, expressed his deep sadness over the loss of Christina, describing her as a wonderful and compassionate woman. He shared his heartfelt sentiments in a statement released recently, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It’s clear that the couple had a strong bond, having been together for nearly ten years. While they preferred to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, fans were treated to glimpses of their relationship during the premieres of The Mule (2018) and The 15:17 to Paris (also 2018).
In 2015, the couple made their public debut at the Academy Awards. Clint Eastwood’s film, American Sniper, based on the autobiography of Chris Kyle, a former Navy SEAL, was nominated for six awards.
It was way back in June 2014 when Us Weekly first reported the romantic involvement between Eastwood and Sandera. There were reports suggesting that Sandera had worked at the Mission Ranch hotel and restaurant in Carmel, California, which happens to be owned by Eastwood.
After six months had passed, the renowned actor officially ended his marriage with his second wife, Dina Eastwood, following a 17-year relationship.
Eastwood and his first wife, Maggie Johnson, were married from 1953 to 1984.
Regarding Sandera’s passing, a representative from Warner Bros informed The Hollywood Reporter that no additional information will be provided.
At the impressive age of 94, Eastwood is currently dedicated to his latest project, which could potentially be his last film.
Many fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Juror No. 2, as it is believed to be Clint Eastwood’s final film before retiring from his illustrious career.
Rest in peace, Christina Sandera. We send our condolences to Clint Eastwood and their other loved ones.
