An Amazing Story: A Man with a Big Heart!

A cat stuck in the doors of a hospital in Istanbul was teetering between life and death. Fortunately, the doctor didn’t hesitate because the patient was an animal rather than a human. He performed his duties brilliantly by administering chest compressions and brought the cat back to life.

It’s unclear why the stray cat decided to slip into the doors of the Ezel Agün Tem Hospital in Istanbul. But something unexpected happened: the cat’s head got stuck between a revolving door and the wall, trapping it and preventing it from escaping.

When the cat had stopped breathing, hospital staff finally noticed the situation at the door. The doctors immediately rushed to help the animal. The cat was unconscious, and time was of the essence.

Among those present in the hospital lobby was Dr. Halil Akyurek, a resuscitation specialist. He quickly came to the cat’s aid. “She was barely breathing,” he says. “I placed my hand under her back, carefully removed her from the door, and we immediately began performing chest compressions.”

After the compressions, an oxygen mask was placed on the cat.

Once the cat’s life was no longer in danger, Dr. Akyurek contacted a veterinarian for advice on the necessary medications and dosages for the cat.

The recovered cat was named Miracle by the hospital staff.

Then another miracle happened: Dr. Akyurek, who saved her life, decided to adopt her. So now the former stray cat has a cozy home!
