One of the things I cherish most in life is discovering that extraordinary talent can be found in everyday people. That’s what I love about The Voice. In the show, judges sit with their backs to the contestants, who have about two minutes to shine and showcase their unique gifts.

If the judges are moved by the performance, they turn their chairs around and get the chance to work with the singer. When Benedikt Köstler had the opportunity to audition, he jumped at it.

With an incredible voice, Benedikt knew chances like this don’t come around often. He chose a song he believed would really highlight his talent. There’s something magical about hearing a classic Elvis Presley song, and Benedikt’s rendition of “Always On My Mind” will leave you in awe.

His voice has this nostalgic, old-school quality that takes you back in time! It’s no wonder the judges were so impressed when he started singing. You could see the surprise on their faces from the very first note.

It wasn’t long before the judges began pressing their buttons and turning around. Honestly, it was no shock that all of them were eager to work with him. I certainly didn’t expect such a powerful voice to come from someone so young, but he truly gave it his all.

What an amazing audition! I couldn’t decide what I enjoyed more—his beautiful voice or the joy on his family’s faces when that first chair turned. Benedikt is a remarkable talent, and he’s got the support he needs to follow his dreams. I can’t wait to see what he’ll do next!
