Country Trio Stuns The Crowd With Epic Response To Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’

Chapel Hart has just made country music history! This electrifying trio took the stage with a fresh, bold twist on Dolly Parton’s classic “Jolene” that had the crowd on their feet and the judges grooving along.

Comprising two sisters, Danica and Devlyn Hart, and their first cousin, Trea Swindle, Chapel Hart hails from Mississippi, and their connection to Dolly is as deep as their Southern roots. As a tribute to the legendary icon, the trio penned their own response to Dolly’s hit, an original song titled “You Can Have Him, Jolene,” offering a modern-day take on the rivalry over a man that Dolly sang about in 1973.

Danica shared their inspiration for the cheeky track: “We’ve always loved the storyline of ‘Jolene,’ but we figured, after all these years, we couldn’t still be fighting over the same guy. So, we decided to tell her, ‘You can just have him, Jolene.'”

Their high-energy performance had the audience roaring and the judges dancing in their seats. By the time they finished, the crowd was chanting for the Golden Buzzer. But there was a catch: the judges had already used their Golden Buzzer for the season, and it’s against the rules to hit it again. For a moment, the air was thick with suspense as the judges deliberated.

Then, in an unforgettable moment, all the judges slammed their hands down together, breaking the rules and hitting the Golden Buzzer! Chapel Hart’s talent, infectious energy, and love of music were simply too good to pass up.

“You’ve got to break down that door, and you may have just broken down that door with that performance,” Simon Cowell said, visibly impressed. “Trust me, I needed you today. That was fantastic.”

Chapel Hart revealed that breaking into Nashville had been tough for them because they don’t fit the traditional country music mold. Heidi Klum responded, “You say country music doesn’t look like you; that is your win, because you are going to be the original.”

If you’re a fan of Dolly and country music, Chapel Hart is the trio you won’t want to miss!
