The Daughter Asked Her Firefighter Father to Sing in the Lobby – His Amazing Voice Stopped All the Hotel Guests

Disney World is a place where great memories are made, and some guests make their visits even more special by showing off their talents. In April 2019, Justin Gillello and his family were staying at the Grand Floridian Resort in Orlando when his 6-year-old daughter, Lila, asked him to perform after hearing a pianist play. Justin, who trained at the Boston Conservatory as an opera singer, revealed his impressive voice by singing “Ave Maria,” much to the delight of the crowd that gathered around.

Justin’s performance was captured in a video that went viral, earning him widespread attention. Lila, who admires her father’s singing, shared that she loves hearing him perform, especially his lullabies. Justin’s journey to opera began when he was a child, and his mother found him a vocal teacher who steered him toward opera. He later continued his studies at Berklee College of Music.

Now, with a daughter of his own, Justin’s performances have shifted to Disney songs, which he often sings with his family. His viral video led to media attention, and he and his family moved to Ormond Beach, Florida, to help Justin pursue his dream of singing at Disney weddings. Justin continues to share his performances on Twitter and YouTube, expressing gratitude for the support he’s received.
