That Changed His Life

Tom was walking home on a freezing night when he spotted a man shivering under a bridge. Without a second thought, he handed over his jacket and left.

Two days later, while going through his closet, he found his own jacket… and a note tucked inside.

“I wore this for one night. I don’t need it anymore. You helped me believe someone cares. I’m going home to see my mom after 10 years.”

Underneath the note was a phone number.

Tom called. A woman answered and said, “You found my son. I’ve been waiting for this call my whole life.”
