She had never done anything like this. Heights terrified her. Balance wasn’t her strength. But something deep inside told her to try. She stepped onto the flyboard—nervous, shaky, unsure.
The instructor gave her a nod. The water began to pulse beneath her feet. For a few seconds, she wobbled. Then, as the jets surged, she lifted.

The crowd on the shore gasped.
There she was—rising like a phoenix from the sea. Her hair whipped in the wind, her arms stretched out like wings. She wasn’t just balancing anymore. She was flying.
Tears filled her eyes, but not from fear. From freedom.

She twirled in the air, dipped and soared, laughing through the spray of the sea. Onlookers clapped and cheered, but she didn’t hear them. All she heard was her own heartbeat—and the silence of peace.
