It started as the worst moment of her life.

When emergency doctors arrived, they found a man collapsed in the street—motionless, no heartbeat detected. His ID said his name was Daniel. At the hospital, they called his fiancée, Emily. Her hands shook as she ran through the hospital doors, heart pounding, eyes full of tears.
