Blake Lively has decided to withdraw the subpoena she issued to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton in connection with her ongoing legal battle with actor-director Justin Baldoni. Hilton recently secured legal representation from the ACLU of Nevada, prompting Lively to drop the request. Originally, Lively claimed that Hilton had colluded with Baldoni, who she accuses of sexual harassment and retaliation, to damage her reputation via his platform. Hilton denies these claims, stating his commentary was independent and unpaid.

Earlier, Lively questioned Hilton’s credibility as a journalist, a point he strongly disputes. He also argued that the subpoena was excessively broad and could undermine press freedom. Baldoni has consistently denied Lively’s allegations and even filed a countersuit against her and her husband Ryan Reynolds, though it was dismissed on procedural grounds. Both Lively and Baldoni are expected to testify when the trial begins in March 2026, keeping the case in the spotlight.
