Brad Pitt opens up about suffering from a very strange disease

Recently, Brad Pitt opened up about his diagnosis, which seems very strange at first.

That’s because, according to a recent GQ interview, the Oscar winner suffers from facial blindness, also called prosopagnosia, which makes it difficult for him to recall people’s features.

An actor thinks he has it despite the fact that he has not been formally diagnosed.

He admits that no one believes him. “I’d want to meet another person with it.”

Pitt told GQ that he wants to remember the people he meets and that he believes his battle has created the appearance that he is distant.

According to the National Institute of Health, prosopagnosia is a neurological disease that may lead individuals to have difficulties identifying even close relatives or acquaintances. Other tactics for recognizing people, such as concentrating on their voice, are used in treatment.

According to some studies, it may affect as many as one in every fifty people.

Pitt told Esquire in 2013 that he has this illness, which is why he spends so much time at home.
