Being a parent is a difficult responsibility. Being a single parent is also a double bind. Chatchai Panuthai, a single parent from Thailand, had this experience. He decided to dress as a lady and go to school with his two boys. all so they may take part in the Mother’s Day festivities.

Thailand, it turns out, celebrates Mother’s Day on August 12. Every year, this festival is accompanied by the custom of kids bowing before their moms as a symbol of appreciation. Chatchai’s wife, the mother of their two children, Ozon, five, and Imsom, three, left them to live in Europe.

The lack of a mommy should not have stopped the children from having a good time on their holiday. As a consequence, their father dressed up as a mother and went to school. “I suppose Chatchai’s boys didn’t grasp what occurred,” a friend of a single father stated. Why did Dad dress like a woman?

If the kids didn’t like their father’s performance, the grownups at the festival crowned Chatchai Panuthai “mother of the year.” Would you be willing to attempt such an experiment? Surprisingly, I concur. As you can see, the father’s affection eclipses that of the mother.
