Sunny Vapkey is open for business. He decided to establish an innovative philanthropic organization four years ago.

He conducts a tournament among instructors from various countries to determine who is the best.

The winning teacher will get a $1 million award. This year, 10,000 people from 179 different countries applied for the tournament.

The winning Kenyan community is located in the midst of nowhere. The rural school is in bad condition, and there aren’t enough subjects to teach youngsters.

There are only 58 students and one teacher at the school. There is only one computer available for all of the pupils.

Students travel significant distances to attend classes.

The hardest way is given to them in rainy weather.

But even in such conditions, Peter manages to achieve excellent results – his students win in various scientific competitions.

Before that, Peter was a teacher at a private school.

Later, he decided to become a monk and left private school.

After his dismissal, Peter decided to help students in poorer areas.

The teacher attempts to motivate and inspire his students to believe in themselves in order to attain any goals.

Peter claims that anyone will be fortunate enough to find something he adores.

Students actively participate in school life and arrange numerous projects. Peter feels that in challenging situations, innovative thinking and the ability to look at the situation from many perspectives are extremely crucial.

There are many circles at the school that allow children to develop their creative abilities and engage in scientific experiments.

Peter decided to open a “Peace Club”, where he gathers students from different faiths and different nationalities, and teaches them respect for each other and tolerance.
