Dwayne Johnson gave an early Christmas present to a fan whose tale impacted him before Thanksgiving.

The 49-year-old «Red Notice» star shared a touching video on Instagram of him surprising Navy veteran Oscar Rodriguez with his personalized Ford F-150 Raptor.

Johnson wanted to do «something cool» for all of his fans who came to see his new film «Red Notice» at a special theater screening. While seeing the film, moviegoers were treated to free refreshments and ice cream.

For one admirer, The Rock stated he wanted to do something «huge» and «unforgettable.» His original plan was to give away the Porsche Taycan he drove in the film, but Porsche turned him down.

Johnson decided to go one step further by donating his personal custom truck, which he refers to as his «baby.»

He stated on Instagram, «I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience, and ultimately, Oscar’s tale impacted me.»

Rodriguez exemplifies what it is to be a good human being. He’s a humble Navy veteran who looks after his 75-year-old mother, serves as a leader at his church, and provides support and meals to women who have been victims of domestic violence.

Johnson is seen in the video making an unplanned appearance at the screening, much to the joy of his supporters. He then mentioned Rodriguez and encouraged him to join him in the front row.

As the audience watched, Johnson told Rodriguez, «Your story really impacted me because I hear you’re a personal trainer, and you’re constantly keeping things positive, encouraging, and optimistic.»

Rodriguez answered, “I’m just speechless. I’m so glad to meet you, I feel so encouraged right now, so uplifted. I’m encouraged by your motivation. I follow you on Instagram, I listen to your words. You inspire me. And yeah, let’s do it. Let’s change the world, one person, at a time.”

Johnson then invited Rodriguez outside to show him something—a card that he wrote addressed to “Oscar.”

Rodriguez had no idea that the letter’s message would change his life. He pulled out the card and read it aloud. «Thank you for your service, brother,» it said. «Have fun with your new truck.»

When Rodriguez realized what had happened, he knelt beside the truck and sobbed.

He shouted, «What the hell is going on?» Rodriguez got up and hugged Johnson, overcome with emotion.

«I was under the impression that this was your truck, bro!» «It’s my truck!» Rodriguez exclaimed to the actor. It’s now your truck!»

Rodriguez then used FaceTime to show his girlfriend who he was hanging out with.

The new owner of the Ford F-150 Raptor is seen driving away with his new ride near the end of the video. «It’s just love, bro,» Rodriguez said to Johnson before he did. That was the case.

«It was really an honor for me to bring a little bit of joy to someone who deserves a lot more than just my truck,» Johnson said, before jokingly adding that he needed to figure out how to get home because he didn’t have a ride.

Rodriguez later shared the same video and a photo of him standing in front of the truck on his Instagram.

“I have no words to express how blessed and grateful I am !! Again no words only scripture,” he wrote before quoting the Bible, “With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God!
