Every day we encounter a lot of interesting stories about people. This time the story is about a bride who didn’t want to invite her grandma to her wedding because she believed she would shame her since she was poor. But when she opened her grandmother’s present on her wedding day and realised she was a billionaire,
Mia grew up in a basic and simple environment with working-class parents and grandparents who struggled from day to night to pay for their necessities. While her parents lived poorly, they always made an effort to provide Mia with some pleasures whenever possible.
But Lucia, had always been the more thrifty of the two. Lucia only possessed two pairs of shoes, which she would mend whenever they broke, so she wouldn’t have to purchase new ones. She partitioned her weekly grocery purchases so that no component went to waste, and she never presented gifts to her family and friends.
Mia didn’t mind her grandmother’s methods as a youngster since she’d still get to eat the excellent cuisine Lucia cooked. As Mia got older, she started to think that her grandmother was just cheap and didn’t want to spend her money for some reason Mia had yet to figure out.

Mia was brilliant, despite her modest circumstances. She received scholarships to a prestigious school and university, exposing her to individuals from many backgrounds, particularly the rich. When she saw how nicely her peers lived, she became jealous and desired more from life.
She only anticipated the best when she eventually got a taste of the good life after finishing university. She had the best job opportunities, the finest apartment, the best clothing, and the greatest guy to call her spouse.
Mia began a relationship with Mark, a rich corporate executive who worked for the same company as her. They started dating, taking lavish trips and dining at the finest restaurants in the state.

Mia soon became dissatisfied with what her own family had to give. Her grandmother’s home-cooked food no longer appealed to her, and soon she didn’t even want to hang out with her cousins.
Her grandmother’s home-cooked food no longer appealed to her, and soon she didn’t even want to hang out with her cousins.
Mia wasted little time in organizing her wedding when Mark proposed to her and she said yes. She wanted to be known as the “wedding of the year.”
Mia wanted her wedding to be exquisite in every way, including her guest list. As a result, she didn’t intend to invite her own grandmother, Lucia, since she assumed she wouldn’t fit in.
“She’s your granny,” she says. “She should see you go down the aisle, dear,” her boyfriend Mark said, but she shrugged.

“She’s frighteningly tiny, and she has no idea how to dress effectively.” “I’d rather she didn’t come,” she urged.
Mia’s parents insisted on inviting her sole surviving grandma as well, but she politely declined. “Let’s simply have supper with her afterwards,” she suggested to her parents.
Lucia was devastated when she learned she wouldn’t be able to witness her granddaughter go down the aisle. She didn’t want to make a big deal about it, so she just assured Mia that she understood.
Lucia delivered a massive rose to her granddaughter’s dressing room on the wedding day. She wanted Mia to have it before the wedding since she thought it would cheer her up.
Mia, on the other hand, was not overjoyed when she got the rose. “How did this happen?” “Did she take it from one of the outdoor flower arrangements?” She laughed.
Her mother shook her head. “Your grandma wanted to give you this lovely pink rose, Mia.” Just enjoy it for what it is. “I haven’t seen a rose that huge in a long time,” she informed her daughter.

Mia groaned. She thought the rose was lovely, but it wasn’t an acceptable wedding present, particularly from Lucia.
When her mom left the room and Mia was alone, she chose to play “He loves me, he does not love me,” picking up the rose petals one by one. She was shocked to find a little letter stuck to the centre of the bloom when she finished plucking it.
“What is this?” she asked herself. When she opened it, she discovered a brief message from her grandma, along with a little key attached to the bottom of the small notebook.
“I’m so happy you’re being married at the chapel we used to go to when you were little, Mia.” Father Jameson, a personal friend of mine, had stored a package for me all these years. You’ll discover what I’m talking about if you open the closet in the room you’re in. “Grandma.”

Mia, intrigued, unglued the key from the paper and proceeded to the closet within her dressing room. The parish priest’s garments lay in a straight line within, and a medium-sized chest sat at the bottom.
Mia knew the key tied to the paper was supposed to open the chest, so she did just that. She wasn’t expecting what she saw inside when she opened it.
When she noticed heaps of cash inside the chest, her jaw dropped. On top of the stacks was a message that said, “As you begin this new chapter in your life, my beloved Mia, I hope you have nothing but your happiness.” I hope this assists you and your spouse in creating the life you want for your family. “Grandma, I love you more than anything in the world.”

As she read the message, Mia’s hands shook. She rummaged through the cash and figured it couldn’t be less than a million dollars.
Mia felt guilty for being unkind to her grandma and being judgmental towards her. “I can’t believe I didn’t think to invite her today.” “What sort of grandchild am I?”
The wedding was set to begin in a few minutes, but Mia refused to go down the aisle before speaking with her grandmother. She drove herself to her grandmother’s home, where she found her sitting in front of the TV with a cup of tea in her hands.
“Grandma!” Mia rushed over to embrace her. “I’m very sorry, Grandma. “I’ve been so stupid, self-centered, and greedy that I’ve broken the precious link we had as children,” she sobbed.

“What are you doing here, Mia, sweet angel?” “You’re meant to get married!” Lucia responded, amazed that her granddaughter was visiting her on her special day.
Mia raised her head. “I apologize, Grandma. I’ve come to apologize for my own behavior.I saw the box you left me. When you had all that money, you lived simply for years. You might have spent everything on yourself, but you chose to keep it all for me! ”
Lucia grinned. “My childhood ambition was to be rich. When I had a family, my aim shifted, and all I wanted was a grandchild to care for and enjoy for the rest of my life. “I was so thrilled when your parents had you, and all I wanted was to make you happy, too,” she said.
Mia did not attend her marriage ceremony without her grandmother.
“Mia, I grew up in a rough neighborhood, and I don’t want you to go through the same thing.” Don’t be concerned about me. I’ve had a comfortable life throughout the years. I made certain to keep everything for you. “I’m OK, love, so go get married,” Lucia murmured as she embraced her sobbing granddaughter.
Lucia lived long enough to see her great-grandchildren, and Mia relished the opportunity to teach her children the value of love and family.
