Will Jonny Depp reprise his role in Pirates of the Caribbean after his trial?

Apparently, Johnny Depp just won his critics’ claims against his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard, putting an end to a tense six-week legal battle. This argument sheds light on Depp’s personal life as well as his well-known role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney’s “Privateers of the Caribbean” franchise. However, with such huge titles causing a commotion around town, fans of the immensely successful film series can’t help but wonder whether Depp will return to the risky job, and according to a former Disney executive, it may not be too far off.

At the moment, Hollywood experts are divided into two camps: one believes that Depp’s career will resume after this wild debut, while the other believes that it will not. However, another part claims Depp may be invited to return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise shortly. This was said by one previous Disney executive figure.

“I completely embrace the conclusion that Pirates is ready for a relaunch with Johnny as Captain Jack back on board,” the former executive told PEOPLE in a recent meeting. “There is just a lot of potential movie industry wealth for a lovely person well embedded in Disney culture.”

“With producer Jerry Bruckheimer experiencing some actual success on the colossal advancement of Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, there is great demand for bringing back bankable Hollywood stars to immensely well-recognized institutions,” the CEO said.

Apparently, for the time being, this is only speculation from a former boss who no longer works for The Walt Disney Company. In any event, one may argue that more ridiculous things have happened. For the time being, take this concept with a grain of sand.

Please don’t get us wrong: we’d love to see Captain Jack cruise the seas in the experiential film series in the future. What’s next for Depp will be revealed at some time!
