Every generation produces a prodigy. Children with amazing talents make us believe in miracles because of their incredible abilities.
Likewise, Isla McNabb did things that amazed her parents.
Ilsa McNabb, like any other 2.5-year-old toddler, enjoys watching “Blippi” on YouTube. But, unlike any other child, she has certain unusual abilities that baffle her parents.
Her mother, Amanda, an auditor, and father, Jason, a dentist, both spotted Isla’s toy alphabet letters in various configurations dispersed around their house. The letters C-A-T were written next to their beloved cat. They saw S-O-F-A while sitting next to the sofa.

They realized it was their child who was putting the letters together. They opted to get her IQ tested because they were impressed with her ability to not only identify but also spell words. She received a score in the top percentile, in the top 1%. Because of her performance, she was asked to join Mensa, which only accepts members from the top 2% of the population.
At just 2.5 years old, she is one of the organization’s youngest members!
Her parents discovered that their kid was sounding out words on her own about the time she turned two. They gave her a tablet and scribbled words on it, allowing her to sound them out.
Her father wrote “red,” which she easily pronounced. She did the same with the words “purple, blue, and yellow,” and her mother was worried she’d be confused with “orange,” but the toddler heard it out correctly as well.

“Everything we put at her seemed to take up right away,” her father remarked, adding, “it was wonderful.”
Her parents kept teaching her new words, and she eventually had a vocabulary of almost 500 words.
Ilsa is an outstanding reader, and they just told their physician about her. The doctor assumed her parents meant she could repeat bedtime tales she heard, but he was surprised when she started reading a sign in the doctor’s office.
Most youngsters begin reading between the ages of 6 and 7 years old. But Isla’s brilliance extends beyond reading. She can also count backwards and forwards. In addition, elementary mathematical sums are performed.

Isla, like other intellectual children, does not sleep as much as a typical toddler, which exhausts her parents. They are also not planning any more tests because, as her mother puts it, “I can’t have her knowing she’s smarter than me.”
Isla McNabb is an exceptional young lady with a promising future.
