Andrew Morales, a US Marine Staff Sergeant, served in Afghanistan, where he saved two dogs. He even brought both dogs back to San Diego with him. However, transporting both Anatolian Shepherds to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, may be difficult.

After having their tails and ears removed for fighting, the two dogs, who are also brothers, stayed together. Luckily, Andrew Morales formed a strong attachment with the dogs, Wyatt and Dusty, and was unwilling to leave them. He knew he couldn’t abandon them when he got his new mission.

When he went flying with the dogs, however, they were not allowed to board the plane since they were too huge for commercial carriers. As a result, Wyatt and Dusty’s family organized an internet petition and contacted an organization to assist them in getting from Afghanistan to California.

Thankfully, Helen Rosburg, the great-granddaughter of Wrigley Gum creator William Wrigley, saw the letter and gave Andrew Morales and his family a private jet. Helen’s love for animals helps her to want to give them a private jet as a gift.

Big thanks to Helen for assisting the Marine and his family in reclaiming their dogs.
