Going to school on their own may be stressful for many youngsters, particularly in the beginning when they have not adjusted to their new life. Being apart from one’s parents may be a traumatic event for any child.
Axel Johnson seemed ecstatic as he got ready to start school. When his mom, Amy, snapped a photo of him, he smiled brightly as he waited for the school bus.
When it came time for him to leave, his demeanor altered and he looked to be on the verge of crying. Axel was clearly not as brave as he imagined he would be when it was time to go to school.
Isabel Lane, the bus driver, saw Axel’s look change from pleased to sad, but she was determined to persuade him that riding the bus and heading to school with a lot of kids his age wasn’t unsafe. Isabel placed her hand behind Axel, who was sitting on the seat behind her, and Axel clasped her hand. Amy was able to photograph it, and it was a really special moment.

In addition to her position as a driver, Isabel displayed concern for the children’s enjoyment. She wanted Axel to realize that even if his mother wasn’t there, he could always depend on her. Her gesture comforted the worried kid, and he felt more relaxed.
Amy posted the photo of her kid with the bus driver on Facebook because she believed it was important to share. While she was expecting it to be well-received, she had no idea it would get so much praise.
The photograph was shared by the local police department, which got over 2,400 replies.
Isabel was surprised by the compliments she got. “I honestly didn’t think it was a big deal.” “I think this is something I would do,” she said.
It was, nevertheless, substantial. Axel wasn’t as scared the following day since he knew he had Isabel as a friend. He was excited to begin a new adventure and was all smiles.
Axel now looks forward to each new school day, thanks in large part to Isabel.
