This baby, who was born 12 weeks early, became the smallest survivng baby! Here is a story of her miracle survival

Nobody expected this baby to live when she was born twelve weeks before her due date. The newborn weighed little under thirteen ounces and was 8.6 inches in length. Manushi, on the other hand, defied the odds and survived birth.

Doctors told Manushi’s parents that she wouldn’t live much longer after delivery, yet she miraculously survived in the weeks that followed. Manushi, who was born in Rajasthan, northern India, has a hand the size of her mom’s thumbnail. Her essential organs, such as her brain, lungs, kidneys, and heart muscle, were not completely formed since she was born so early. Her skin was also not completely mature, and her whole body could shut down at any time.

Manushi had to be fed by physicians and nurses who administered minerals, vitamins, and other nutrition straight into her veins throughout the first several months of her existence. Doctors gave Manushi a 0.5 percent chance of survival, but that was more than enough for her.Despite the fact that the odds were set against her, she kept growing and thriving, finally taking milk.

Manushi topped the scales at 5.2 pounds a few months after her birth, and doctors finally cleared her to go home with her family! Manushi went on to set the record for the tiniest infant ever to survive delivery.

We’re thrilled that Manushi’s tale ended happily, and we wish her the best of happiness in the years ahead! She’s certainly a really remarkable and determined young girl.
