Legendary actor Chuck Norris gives up his career because he is having a really hard time. Read below what happened

Actor Chuck Norris has gained immense success throughout the years as one of the most recognized martial artists. His great career has made him a synonym for strength, attracting millions of followers from all over the globe. He has black belts in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and judo, and is the creator of Chun Kuk Do, an American hybrid martial arts form based on traditional Taekwondo traditions like Tang Soo Do/Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo.

Aside from being an important part of Hollywood, he is also a family guy and the father of five children. He has been married to his wife, Gena O’Kelley, a former model, television personality, and actor, for almost 22 years. What we love about Norris is that he never misses an opportunity to tell Gena, and all of us, how much she means to him.

Gina, like Chuck, has been married previously. She was married to Gordon Hinschberger and had two children with him, Kelley and Tim, although nothing is known about their divorce. The actor previously shared a picture of the two on their wedding day with the caption, «22 years ago I became the happiest guy in the world when Gena and I were married.» Happy Anniversary, my lovely wife!

There are no words to express how much I adore and appreciate you. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life. Every day we are together, I thank God. » Chuck and Gina have two children, Danielle and Dakota, and their marriage is picture-perfect in terms of their love for one another. However, their lives were flipped upside down around a decade ago when Gina began suffering from health problems.

According to the pair, it all began in 2013 when Gena went for a regular MRI scan and got an injection, which is a common procedure before entering an MRI scan. At the same time, she began to feel tremors and a scorching sensation all over her body. Doctors had a hard time figuring out what was wrong with her because they didn’t know what could have caused that horrible burning feeling.

Her health deteriorated over time. The discomfort expanded to her ribcage, causing her to have difficulty breathing, muscular weakness, and joint pain. After physicians failed to properly diagnose and treat Gina, she took matters into her own hands. She thoroughly investigated her symptoms. It finally caused her to develop gadolinium poisoning.

After undergoing therapy, she started to feel better, but the path to complete recovery remained lengthy. Within hours of the initial shot, I felt like my whole body was on fire – as if acid had been sent through it.» The fire was initially contained, but it swiftly spread… I had been laying in bed on an IV for five months and needed nursing care around the clock. Chuck slept next to me on the sofa and never got up. She said she hoped she would live long enough to watch her children grow up.

Her loyal husband is at her side at all times while she fights the sickness. Chuck even gave up his acting profession to care for her. «I’ve given up my career as an actor to concentrate on Gena; my whole life is focused on keeping her alive right now,» Chuck revealed. «I feel this is an urgent matter.» «It’s irritating and upsetting,» Gena continued. «It’s a horrible, ugly secret that has gone overlooked,» Chuck says.

Since the beginning of her struggle, Gena and Chuck have publicly sued 11 healthcare firms in an attempt to get justice. We wish Chuck Norris and Gena continued success in their future pursuits. Hopefully, she will be entirely recovered shortly.
