Sheriff Jeremy Briese may not have believed in miracles before, but he now considers this rescue to be nothing but a miracle. “The miracles were on top of many miracles,” he said.

He further said that miracles have always happened. From the moment the family was spotted to the rescue team’s speedy reaction and only needing enough rope to haul them up the cliff, When they got Scott and his son to the top, they were surprised to see that they were both alive, talking, and only had minor injuries.
