Few individuals are fortunate enough to meet a soulmate who understands their anguish and laughs at their dreary jokes. Phedre Fitton and her husband, Nigel, had been married for a lifetime until she passed away from cancer. Nigel was saddened and struggled to deal with the death of his devoted wife.
However, before she passed, she had one last wish: she wanted Nigel to water the plants she maintained in the bathroom on a regular basis. Needless to say, that became Nigel’s daily routine. He never went a day without checking on them. “They had been together since they were 16, and he was crushed when she died. ” So he simply did what she wanted,” her daughter Antonia Nicol remarked!
Phedre was renowned for her clever attitude and sense of humor, but no one anticipated her continuing to make the family laugh after she passed away. As time passed, Nigel remembered his fiancée anytime he was near her wonderful flowers. He could see water trickling down the drain at times when watering them, but it wasn’t until he planned to relocate five years after his wife died that he discovered she had played a joke on him.
“They looked so good that he decided to take them to his new house,” Nicol added. He eventually understood they were made of plastic. But he wasn’t upset; rather, he was delighted that Phedre could come up with something both cruel and humorous. “I was curious why they were still looking so nice,” he said. People felt it was wonderful that Nicol’s father was so committed to honoring his wife’s dying request when she uploaded a picture of him watering the plants.
“We joked a lot about it,” Nicol said, “and it was lovely to believe that my mother was still there with us.” This encouraged the whole family to reminisce about all of the enjoyable activities their mother and wife participated in while she was still living. Her vivacious personality was unlike any other, and she will be remembered as a charming lady who sought to bring joy to people. They imagine she is giggling from up high as her husband learns he has been played.
