Gruffydd Wyn is a native of North Wales who aims to be a successful singer. The 22-year-old lives with his grandmother due to a terrible familial situation.

On the set of Britain’s Got Talent, he discusses his ambitions with the judges. However, Simon Cowell cuts him off seconds into his performance. Gruffydd is so anxious that he can’t sing effectively, and Simon notices.

He tells the young man to reconsider and try again. I am glad he did, for when Gruffydd sings again, everyone is taken aback by his wonderful voice. Not only that, but he gets the golden buzzer!
